I hate the auction fees, they’re so pointless

I have just never understood why there is an auction fee. In NBA live mobile 16 there was a 10% fee and I thought it was stupid. Who’s getting that money anyways, like why do we loose those coins and they don’t even go to anyone. Now that it’s 20% that’s much too high, I personally believe there shouldn’t even be an auction fee because this is virtual coins that aren’t even real in the sense that this money can’t be used in the real world. I understand the auction fees on eBay because that’s actual money that can be used, but this money is for a basketball video game and for nothing else only. I personally feel that’s the worst part of the game, and the auction fees have to be eliminated from the game. It only makes sense. Who’s profiting off the auction fees for the game at least, like who in ea sports gets those coins from everyone’s auction and used them for themselves in the game?
