New Version - Similar Frustrations

Its a good game, very good even, but it gets in its own way which stops it from being great.
The dunk drills are so frustratingly bad it takes away from the rest of the game.
Rebounding is an unfunny joke and seems really poorly thought out.
The lack of attention to detail on some of the players is just sad (even my 2 year-old daughter knows that Nick Van Excel was a lefty).
The rewards are inconsistent and confusing and come and go without much explanation.
And lately there have been consistent bug issues and crashes.
If this was an app put together by a new company, Id be impressed. But from a company with a history and game pedigree like EA Sports, I expected just a bit better. I am a few frustrations away from a "Oh how the mighty have fallen" type of review.
For now, lets just say the mighty are hurtin.
