Please Explain this Developers

I would like the developers to answer 2 questions question. 1. What is the purpose of player and team ratings? Here’s my problem my Team rated at 87 loses to a team of 82 on “auto play”. This tells me that you “ the developers” have each game predetermined. Which is conclusive that whether I choose not to “buy” players or “invest” my hard earned money into your game, you (EA) will always have the pre-deciding algorithm if I win or loose each game or tournament. Given that this information has been tested over and over and proven to be true, I ask my second question. Would you continue to invest in this game?
